Robert E. Kneece, Jr.
Robert E. Kneece, Jr. (Bobby) is the senior partner in Kneece Law Firm, LLC in Columbia, South Carolina. He has tried numerous civil and criminal jury cases, appearing frequently in local, State and Federal Courts. Additionally, he has established a successful real estate practice to include both commercial and residential real estate closings. He is an authorized title insurance agent of Stewart Title Insurance Company.
In 1984, Bobby graduated from the University Of South Carolina School Of Law and was chosen to work as a law clerk for Circuit Judge Don Rushing, a former trial attorney in Lancaster, S.C. During this year, Bobby was able to observe several high profile civil and criminal trials throughout the State and assisted Judge Rushing with the legal research needed to make his judicial rulings. In 1985, Bobby became a staff attorney for the Office of Senate Research assisting the Clerk of the Senate and Senators with legal research.
In 1987, Bobby became an associate in his father’s law firm which was established in 1958 working with his father, Robert E. Kneece, and uncle, William O. Kneece (Billy) and other experienced attorneys.
Bobby now practices with his brother Rex, a registered lobbyist, representing many statewide and national clients. Bobby has established a general practice in real estate law, civil law and criminal law. He is married to Harriet Brunson Kneece, who is a Fourth grade teacher, and they have three children, Robert, Francie, and Harriet.
